Covert Tracker

This unit is ideal for covert tracking and is as accurate as any other GSM tracker on the market today and is available here at a fraction of the cost. With its incredibly strong magnets it is ideal for hiding underneath a vehicle as a covert security or surveillance tracker.
GSM tracker units utilise mobile phone networks and mobile phone location services to report their positions on request. They are useful for locating larger items such as cars, caravans, containers etc for security or surveillance purposes.

Tracker function:

for tracking people, cars, possessions, assets. The Covert Tracker has a laser cut steel strip riveted to its lid, to enable use of the Under-Car Mounting Magnets for covert tracking operations. The Covert Tracker is supplied complete with an internal 3AA battery holder. This will power the unit as a tracker for about a week. These trackers have proved incredibly effective in situations where access to the inside of the car is not possible. The tracker will stay discreetly in place for as long as you need it to, and waterproofing is easily achieved (outlined in instructions). Included with this item: Covert Tracker, internal battery holder, mounting magnets, full instructions. Measures approximately 130mm x 65mm x 30mm. Although this item will work on either the Vodafone or O2 networks, we strongly recommend using on Vodafone only, for enhanced tracking quality.

Please note that very cold weather will reduce battery life!

GSM mobile phone tracking is far less accurate than GPS satellite tracking which is used in car Sat Navigators. GSM tracking is not suitable for street level tracking but will show you the area that it is in with reasonable accuracy. One of the main factors that affects GSM tracking  is how many phone masts are nearby towns are much better than the countryside in this respect for network coverage.
